life update 2: electric boogaloo

hey hey hey whats up yaaaa!! so! like last life update, quite a bit has happened again! to preface, id say life has been pretty fine these past few months :) the last time i updated this blog was november so its nice to log back in every six months and share my life!

well, for starters, prom is pretty soon. its currently may 12th and i have two projects due by next week, a prom on the 25th, the last day of my school year on june 9th, some state exams throughout june, and a job in july. im excited! im gonna try to use my job's money to get some dethklok tickets bc i rly wanna see them live. side note, pls watch metalocalypse if you havent it is AMAZINGGGG

anyways, what's happened since ive been gone? well, about a month or so after i posted my last blog i turned 16 in december so yay im 16 now! weirdly enough, ive always wanted to be 16 specifically for some reason (even tho i never wanted a sweet 16). idk, i just feel like its the peak teen age? like 16 makes me think of the teen life i want (homecoming (our school doesnt even have a football team so our homecoming wasnt even a dance, it was basically just a show for the step team but yk go step team i support!!), hanging w friends at the mall every day, super sunny, etc. basically a 2000s teen movie). i digress, though; when 2023 hit it was pretty cool! until i got the flu and had to miss school for a week! but not just any week, dear reader, i had to miss MIDTERMS WEEK! hahahaahaaaa lord...its fine though im over it now. ive been just kinda chillin in class and been just. acting silly :) ive gotten a lot closer to my bf and ofc have been hanging w my friends a lot so yeah! classes have been okay, i recently finished my APUSH course with lord knows what grade i got on that test, and i recently took the SAT! (which, side note, i was more confident on the math this time??? i knew some of the stuff on there. crazy!) my grades have been cool (im in five honor societies now :D!) but some of the people. Some Of The People. that is all i will say. yeah the environment is a bit. confusing, to say the least, i think ive been cool! ive also been shopping for prom dresses and currently am torn between two, but i believe i know which one i'll pick. idrk which hairstyle tho so if you have any suggestions for prom hairstyles on 2b/2c hair pls let me know in the comments!! also, remember how i said ive gotten closer to his bf? guess what? i also spent a day w him and his MOTHER. two days my bday. it was basically like a movie date but with parental supervision so i wont lie, it was a bit awkward :( but twas fun nonetheless. speaking of meeting parents, the national honor society induction ceremony is coming up and i think my bf is gonna meet my parents there so!! i hope this month will be great :D

ive also recently been getting into a lot of adult animation, particularly adult swim. i <3 adult swim it's great :D
