Red (Taylor’s Verson)

I don’t even know if there’s a word that’s accurate or strong enough for me to really describe the emotions that the extended version of All Too Well brought about. Nostalgia? Yes of course but there’s something else there too. I wrote before, when Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was release, that it felt like childhood wounds that were previously just bandaged up felt like they had been ripped open again and exposed to the air to really heal properly. Is there a word for that? Whatever it is, I feel that again. It brings me back to my first love. Or maybe it was limerence. And of course I’m a Pisces x4 so I’ll romanticize it either way. I’m proud of Taylor. And I’m going to have to remember these emotions when I finally find a therapist again.
