MCR - At Nada Recording Studio in 2002

I have found this wonderful video of the beginnings of My Chemical Romance!

It dates back to May 2002 when they were recording the album "I Brought You my Bullets, You Brought Me your Love" at John Naclerio's studio.

An interesting fact about this studio is that it was actually located in the basement of his parents' house. To get to it, you had to go through a laundry room, and then you would find the studio, which was 10x20 feet and very hot. The control room was only 8x8 feet, and the MCR guys had to fit inside that small room.

Moreover, on many occasions, they had to stop recording because Naclerio's mother could be heard vacuuming upstairs or the dog barking, lol. However, despite all these difficulties, the studio had pretty good equipment.

In the video, you can see how much the guys enjoyed recording! You can also see Frank (with dreadlocks), who was not yet a part of the band but always accompanied them during rehearsals and recordings, as he was their biggest fan since the band was founded.

We can also see Geoff Rickly, the lead singer of Thursday, who was a close friend of theirs and became the producer of this album, having to spend the little free time he had left after Thursday's tours. Moreover, Geoff did backing vocals for Gerard in "This is the Best Day Ever."

I hope you enjoy it! <333
