Childhood Stories (1)- Card Giving Day

Idek why I made this lol. So, I decided a series where I'll be sharing some random, short stories I had from my childhood that I wanted to share ^-^ that's all. Starting now:

Card Giving Day. It.. is scary. This was when I was in 7th Grade; the first term/quarter. I would once pride myself in my studies. I was considered a smart child before and I was attending a science high school. I wasn't familiar with the sudden change of environment (This was also when my father was ill and we had to move to my cousins for further treatment).

As expected, I was REALLY stressed back then. I've always thought that I was more smarter than most people, but in this school I felt small between other people who were almost prodigies. The studies were hard and found myself struggling to keep myself up. But it's not that important so anyways, when card giving day arrived, I was nervous as hell.

My mother told me it is alright as long as I pass but I was doubting her words. I was scared that she would be disappointed with my grades; and I guess I was scared to see what I was once proud of gone. So the night before Card Giving I couldn't sleep. So I carefully rose out of bed to not make any loud noises. The time was somewhere between 12:00-1:00 am. I took a bond paper(A4) and wrote something similar to a contract. I wrote my signature with it. What it contained was something similar to:

Marcelines Pandora's birth mother; (name) must not be disappointed with her daughter's scores     (blah blah blah)

______                       _______                                                                                                   Marcy                          Mother

And after, I slept. When I woke up, the first thing I did was ask my mother to sign the paper. I probably thought that she wouldn't read but she read it. She just laughed and signed it. In the end, my grades weren't that bad.. all my grades except history(83 yikes) was 90 and above.

Soo.. yeah that was it. ( I MIGHT have slightly made it too long just for a boring ending) Sorry if it was disappointing I just wanted to share something I thought funny. Making a contract just to make sure my mother won't become angry at me? lol
