totk and botw

i have not yet bought totk cuz i have exactly Zero money but will hopefully be splitting the cost w my brother. 

breath of the wild is absolutely one of my favourite games, despite my experience w the loz series being kinda limited cuz i wasn't allowed to play my (aforementioned) brother's games as a kid. (i'm in the process of playing wind waker and skyward sword.) ((i am a psychopath that plays multiple story games at the same time and then forgets which plot is which))

i'd write an actual critical essay on how much i love this damn game but unfortunately my brain is so fried and i just finished school so pls bear with me as i fumble. 

most of my hours on the game are just me wandering aimlessly and making up my own things to do, and i think the fact that i was given the freedom to do that is a big factor. the main story is compelling and fun but i can also spend hours trying to fling myself across the map. the breakability of the game and the fact there are multiple unintended solutions to shrines that the game will still reward u for is great !!! i hate certain puzzles? no problem lemme bomb myself over the wall. excellent <3 the sheer amount of stuff to do was less overwhelming and more engaging as well. i have not got every korok seed but pls know i tried. 

the totk trailers looked immense i cant wait to make silly things with the new abilities.
