What a fucking hike!!

I had to forego cruise night tonight to go to a book club meeting - on the border with Nassau county!! UGH!!! By the time I finally parked an hour later the poor diva was exhausted (and the driver was starving!!!).

I found some really good food, & perfect sweets at a cat cafe (brought a sprinkle shake back for my hostess). The meeting was very lively & animated, & everyone was very friendly. I even brought back a 4 pack of spiked seltzer - but I have to admit, I missed my boys terribly. It was just a perfectly beautiful day & I heard cruise night was jam packed.

So far it looks like Saturday is a GO, & I cannot wait to be back in my element again. As for going back for book club, I made no promises. Maybe when they have a book that just happens to be on my list...& it happens to rain so I don't miss cruise night again.
