Don't worry the project isn't dead yet. Right now I'm working on some character design stuff while trying to think of a solution to a technical issue I'm having. The protagonist's design is coming along well, and soon I'll be able to showcase the first proper iteration of them. As for that technical issue, I want to be able to have curves in the path and moving between planes, like the classic stages in Sonic Generations. But I realized none of my current movement code will work for that, and I need to figure out how to maintain momentum through a turn. Plus I was thinking of redoing how I handle collisions anyway, so basically none of what I have now from a technical perspective is usable. Glad this happened early on when there's barely anything in the game that I'd have to redo anyway.
