Journal Entry #44: 05/10/23 - Now what?

Welp, I'm officially done with high school! The only thing left to do now is graduate...

Today really felt like a weekend, since I've technically finished school.

I spent most of my day today studying for my Econ exam. For whatever reason, everything was trying to stop me from completing this exam. My proctor wasn't at school and we had trouble retrieving a password.

It's weird though, knowing I'm not going back to high school this coming year. It felt like I was in high school forever, but it's obvious to me now that things that appear to be a given aren't exactly that. I'll probably move on pretty swiftly, we'll see. I just don't want to be that person who comes back simply to relieve overwhelming longing.

Oh, and my bedding came today! I got a comforter with navy and white stripes. And by stripes, I mean big wide ones, the ones you'd maybe see in a cartoon character's bedroom.

I discovered another TMBG song today, this time "All Alone". For whatever reason I forget that they can write sad songs, and this is one of them. They did a really good job with the contrasting musical tones and the reverb during the 'germ verse' parts puts a lot of power into the words sung. This song really gets me thinking about the Fermi paradox and other associated theories.

Also, it stormed last night, so I'm super eepy lol (And it's supposed to storm tonight too, great).
