INT - THE HALLS OF MRS. LANGLEY’S TRAINING CAMPUS - NIGHT

we’re following Anna towards the end of the hallway when….

We cut to inside the office. Mrs. Langley is facing the window away from zane

MRS. LANGLEY 

It’s already decided, the pieces are already in motion. You know I can’t just call it off… even if I DID want to… And I don’t….

Cut back to Anna

While walking back to her dorm room, Anna overhears what she believes to be zane discussing the whereabouts of the target with Mrs. Langley. As she gets closer to the door, the muffles turn into

ZANE 

If you think I’m gonna let you put her in the middle of thi-

MRS. LANGLEY (whispering)

LOWER YOUR VOICE!! You know, actually let’s not discuss this here…

we cut to a chest high shot behind mrs. Langley staring out the window with half of her cut off from the shot as we get a clear view of the city.

MRS. LANGLEY 

Did you forget why we do what we do?

Mrs. Langley turns around towards zane as he lowers his head and walks towards the door

ZANE

I could never forget how we ended up here. Nor will I ever be able to forgive them for this. You of all people should be able to understand that...

MRS. LANGLEY

Just checking.

We cut back to the other side of the door with Anna. As zane approaches, she runs… cut to a shot of zane grabbing the doorknob. He’s opening the door but of course she’s gone by the time the door sees its opening.
