Double Time Again! (5/7/2023 - 5/8/2023)

Once again, I missed yesterday, so here’s another double!

Yesterday, we went to watch my sister get her college degree. That might sound fine and dandy, but it was boiling hot out, and we had to sit the hot sun for HOURS, as they slowly read all the names of every single graduate out there, PLUS all the speeches some students had to give. I burned through three water bottles, and came close to setting myself after it was done. In spite of ALL of that, I’m glad I did it, because my sister has been through hell much greater than yesterday to get that degree, and I’d know she’d do the same for me. 

We also went to her dorm and helped her move out, packing all the stuff she wanted to keep into her car, so she could move back home for the summer. Afterwards, my family went back to the hotel for dinner, and then the days was over.

Today, I woke up and went to a Mexican restaurant for breakfast, and had a breakfast taco for the first time, and from this point on, it’s my new favorite breakfast food! Then me and my family all got in the car, and we drove back to Minnesota, and while it was good to be home, I knew I had to study for my finals, so my family let me spend the evening doing that, and now here I am at the end of the day! I’m glad it’s over, so now I can focus on my own college success!
