First Blog Entry

Back in the day, I had a MySpace page with a brooding rainstorm in the background playing in a loop. I’m sure it was a nightmare for people to load up on their 07/08 internet. 

Now, I am newly 28, still in school for one month more. I am wishing for a career in graphic design, sitting on a bus currently on the way to tour Chicago design studios in hopes I can get some insight on what it is I’m even getting into.

Running on caffeine like never before and stressed for what comes next, incapable of not taking a nap in the middle of the day, hobbies drifting away into the night as I am overworked senseless, I hope that after December 10th, when I graduate, I can reach some kind of steady footing and do something that doesn’t leech into all hours of the day.

I wish to commit to multiple D&D campaigns again, beat Nintendo games for the 2nd/3rd/10th time, play strategy card games, write songs, paint minis, play guitar, read graphic novels and fantasy books, and just browse wikipedia mindlessly.

I do not dream of labor, but I do dream of that.
