To Redeem the Future

It has been nearly two weeks since a certain, world-altering event occurred... What was that event, you may ask? Why, none other than the release of the long-awaited DLC (Despicably Long Continuity!) Expansion to the critically acclaimed masterpiece that is Xenoblade Chronicles 3. This expansion goes by the awe-inspiring epithet of, "Future Redeemed," and focuses on the two previous protagonists of the series, Shulk and Rex, after a timeskip that lead to their presence in the chronologically-advanced world of Aionios, alongside fellow protagonists Matthew, a lost man searching for his sister, and A, a mysterious person who wields the same weapon as Shulk, the Monado. Unfortunately, due to an inexplicable disruption of my waking consciousness resulting in a week-long gap in my perception, I was unable to begin the game at the same time as everyone else, and avoiding spoilers for the game has been quite the arduous task indeed... ...What's that? I should be more worried about why I fell unconscious rather than spoilers for a mere game? How dare you denigrate the narrative integrity of such an acclaimed title! Even if I were to be cast into slumber for millions of eons, I would not falter in dedicating every last neuron and synapse in my infinitely vast mind to processing the utterly enriching and engrossing story of the newest Xenoblade game! Games full of endlessly intriguing concepts and meaningfully designed characters that scratch the infernal itch of the mind that all people, mortal or otherwise possess deep down within themselves! Keh-heh-heh, I wonder... If I were to be transported to the future similarly to Shulk and Rex, what would my appearance look like? There's no doubt in my mind that I'd be taller than I am now, perhaps taller than even my father, the lord of darkness, even in his youth! Although, the idea of becoming as muscular and masculine as Rex, is somewhat repulsive... I take great pride in my bishonen physique, after all!
