Junji ito book idea

I think junji ito should make a manga that's about a girl living in a pandemic, and having a semi normal life, (like she still goes to school, plays sports, ect,) until it get too much that there literally no people left. Like there's a virus in the air that makes people into weird creatures and mutains and stuff. But the virus is from globle warming and chemical spills, things like that. And there is no cure. But these 'creatures' arent like zombies, they are more like monsters. Like for example: three people got kinda merged together and everytime you kill it, they come back as the other person. But this girl can't get infected as much as she is exposed to it.

Idk just thought of it.
