Specific titles from Chilla's Art and Puppet Combo/TSV:
Chilla's Art - The Closing Shift, The Ghost Train, The Radio Station
Puppet Combo/TSV - Bloodwash, Deadly Night, Murder House, Night Watch
honorable mentions - Aka Manto (Chilla's Art), The Convenience Store (Chilla's Art), Night At The Gates Of Hell (released by Torture Star Video), The Night Ripper (Puppet Combo), Stay Out of the House (Puppet Combo)
As Torture Star Video is its own game development company (while owned by Puppet Combo), I wanted to separate it from Puppet Combo.
Torture Star Video releases and develops retro style horror video games like Puppet Combo. Telling them apart however, is fairly easy mainly when you listen to the audio quality. While yes, TSV (Torture Star Video for short) has not the crisp sound quality of modern day, it is far clearer than Puppet Combo's.
Looking at Murder House and Bloodwash for example, Murder House has the audio quality of an old VHS home tape, while Bloodwash is more akin to the audio quality of an older smart phone.
With the graphics of the video games, telling them apart is a bit more tricky however, looking at them side by side, the difference is clear as day.
Both cater to the retro video game style (polygons, early Resident Evil and Silent Hill type), TSV is smoother and better quality, when Puppet Combo manages to bring the retro game nostalgia to its finest point. Playing The Glass Staircase (by Puppet Combo) for example, it greatly reminds me of early Resident Evil games.
Not only with the door opening cutscenes, but with the sheere atmosphere, look and aesthetic of the game.
Not to say TSV is failing at the retro style horror, but it is evident Puppet Combo does it a little better.

Games with major nostalgia factor to favouritism:
Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper and Spyro
I grew up with Play Station 2 and 3 (and XBOX 360), my family owned Ratchet and Clank and Spyro games and we played them together often. Sly Cooper I did not own as a small ghoul, but I played it (Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves) a couple of times at my friend's house and fell in love with the game, I began searching and looking into the game series.
I know what people have said about Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time, and while I do agree with many of the points I must say that I find the video game entertaining and fun
Yes it is rushed (the ending leaving much to question) the art style change in cutscenes is not ideal and lacks the charm of the previous games (I understand it is due to different developers), bosses lack in character and substance and so on and so forth;
but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it at least a little bit. I like the in-game style and graphics, the playstyle of Sly's ancestors is a nice twist to the gameplay and brings variation to each level.
And speaking of Sly's ancestors; they are fun. So full of personality and fun interactions between the main cast. I am especially fond of Rioichi Cooper and Tennessee Kid Cooper
