Happy birthday, John Flansburgh!
So, now that school has (almost technically) ended for me, I've gotten started on some things I've always wanted to do.
It was nice to sleep with fewer blankets last night, though it feels kinda weird and I still haven't found my pillowcase. Anyway, back to what I was talking about. I cleared out my closet today and got rid of a lot of clothes! And by a lot, I mean I got rid of more clothes than I kept. I now have a bunch of random hangers sitting around in my closet.
Most of the stuff I got rid of was pretty old, a lot of it was pre-pandemic clothes, which in my case are outdated since I was a younger teen at the time. Going through these clothes made me realize something though: I used to dress so drab! All I wore were desaturated colors, baggy clothes, and hoodies. No wonder no one talked to me (I'm joking a little), I looked unapproachable! I'm glad I'm coming out of my shell fashion-wise and know what I want.
Since my closet is walk-in, but not enormous, it does look a little empty in there now. However, I have plenty of clothes. Plus, I now have more space to hang things in there; I used to have to fold things and put them on the shelves instead of on the rack.
I also watched a new cartoon today called Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. If you are a big fan of Symbionic Titan, you've probably already watched the two first episodes. If not, if you like Samurai Jack, Genndy Tartakovsky's other work, or are just looking for some new Western animation to watch, you should check it out. I really dig the style of animation and character design, and the premise is interesting. I'll get into more specific thoughts in a separate post though.
Boa noite,
