do u guys ever consider the possibility of modern math using a different base?? like, how would society change if we didn't use decimal but instead sexagesimal like they did in ancient eurasia?? or, what if we used base 10 in time or smth... so like instead of saying "quarter" to represent 15 minutes it actually represented 25 like everywhere else.
what if the change in base caused a catastrophic, society-altering event? like y2k or the usa finally switching to the metric system
ALSO who decided that using a semiprime base was a good idea....
why do we use base 10 it's so bad
