Tips 4 playin guitar

1. MAKE SURE You are holding your pick correctly and do not grip onto the neck tightly!! only your thumb should be on the bottom and it should NOT be sideways 

2. Before you try to learn any songs, learn the strings 
From low to high the strings are, E, A, D, G, B, E 
The saying I learned is "Eddie Ate Dynamite, Good Bye Eddie" 

3. Pls try to get a teacher, they will help u with everythin!! if you can't afford, youtube has a lot of good videos. U gotta be patient with urself, and don't burn yourself out. Decide if you just want to learn how to play songs on the guitar, or if u wanna know how to actually ACTUALLY play.

4. Practice makes perfect!!! 
Start off trying to play slow, try matching with a metronome to get a sense of rhythm, and practice every day that ur able to (only if u feel like it tho, pls dont burn yourself out!!) I would say 15 minutes minimum. 

5. Before u play, warm up
a good way to warm up is to go down the strings, practice going from first fret to second to third and then go down a string and repeat til your at the high e, then go back up if ya get what I mean.
