22nd Birthday

Well, today (technically yesterday since its on the 4th) was my 22nd birthday. I was dreading it up until this point. However, it was nice.

I woke up somewhat early, I got lots of lovely wishes from my friends on Discord, here on Spacehey and from my family. I went out to Goodwill and bought a sweater and a jacket that I liked. Then I walked around and called my friend before I came home and ate homemade pizza and tiramisu with everyone in the house.

Then I spent the rest of the night hanging out with my friends.

For presents, I got some money, and my dad bought be a guitar body off eBay that I'm gonna build up into something really nice. Something else in the mail too I'm not sure what it is yet.

It was a really nice birthday, considering that it was something I was fearing coming all this time. However, now that everything has died down I can't help but feel a little bit melancholy again. Because now it's over, I'm just left with the fact that I'm older now.

I also feel like I could have done more, should have done more, but I'm not sure what. Oh well, I guess that's what birthday weeks are for. I'm sure I'll do something nice this weekend.
