Music Rambling

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music but I of course have my favorite bundle of genres. Though I don't like being the kind of person who gets hyper specific about genres. I don't know every genre imaginable and how to identify them man I just wanna listen to things that make my brain worms dance.

The main genres that I love to listen to are:

• Phonk
• Alt (I use this as a massive umbrella term personally)
• Cynthwave
• Darkwave
• Gravewave
• Certain kinds of rap but I don't know what genres they are
• Pop
• Classical / Waltz
• EDM
• K-Pop
• J-Pop
• Vocaloid

I know K-Pop has a large community but I don't understand how to get into that. I just like the music I've found. I have no knowledge of bands lmao. Honestly this goes with any of these genres. The only band I know somewhat well is Mother Mother because I've listened to them since 2017 and I went to their concert in San Francisco with my boyfriend in 2022. That was my very first concert experience and it was the best. I was brought to tears multiple times and I have a lot of videos and pictures.

Anyways, aside from all this, I wanted to share some of my favorite Spotify playlists that I like to listen to often :D

I also try to label generally what genres are in there. They may not be 100% correct but that's hard to determine okay 😭
