I see a lot of people all over the internet who use typing quirks but I just don't get them. If you use a typing quirk can you please explain why you use it?
I don't have one (at least I don't think I do) but I know that some media give their characters a speech quirk to better represent their personality. This is mostly present in Video Games, especially RPG's like Deltarune or Omori.

Yeah that makes sense, the most common one I see is replacing the s with z. like thiz iz how they zpell. It does seem less boring but it would take a while adjusting from using z instead of s

I feel like they make typing just a little less boring. Give more personality to your messages.
Unless you mean p30p13 typ3ing l1k3 th1s then it's probably more of a just for fun thing. High chance they're just coping Homestuck characters too.
