Incredibly beautiful day

I have just been spending all day ouside. This weather is just amazing. The air is so fresh, the breeze is blowing, there are so many huge clouds towering up into a blue sky. Lots of birds flying around and playing in the wind. There's even a faint rainbow! It's like a dream. 

There's a storm coming tonight, that's why. The weather right before a storm is always so nice to me. Some cool planes passed overhead today, some Bombardier Challengers that were between 2k and 3k feet up. They have a nice screech to them. 

Luckily, I was also able to get a good chunk of progress on my university work done as well. I sorta fell behind on that because of all the fun aviation stuff going on. But I gotta get cracking! 

So, something really cool is happening this Friday. There's gonna be an event at one of the local airports. It's just a few miles away from my home airport, and I've been there a couple times before. Anyways, they're having a nice little overnight camping event and I'm going. 

It'll be so cool waking up the next day right on the airport, and then having lunch and driving right down the road to my flight lesson. I can't wait. The storm should be over by then. If it's not, it'll still be nice to be there. Even if I don't spend the night for whatever reason, it's a 3-day event, so there'll be plenty to see!
