Super awesome flying day!

Ahhhhh! I FINALLY got to fly again! I got to fly with my ground instructor, who, as I mentioned once before, just recently became a certified CFI. I was still feeling a bit sick from my stomach, but I was able to tough it out enough to fly this morning. 

Man. It was a gorgeous day! The clouds were beautiful! The air was so fresh, and the skies were just... Wow. I loved flying today. I have now finally and officially filled out one full page in my logbook! It's such a meaningful milestone for me! 

So, once I got home I just knocked out and slept for a bit. Then I had to get up and get ready to head back out to the airport again for the Civil Air Patrol meeting. It's like, right next door to my school. So, I got to see thr new batch of students coming in for the ground school. Aww, I felt so nostalgic.... 

The CAP meeting today was great, and my new friend was there! I'm so excited to start flying with him. I start training later this month already! 

Anyways, after the meeting I took some really nice photos of the airport at night. It's just so relaxing and beautiful, and I'm so glad I get to hang out there at night again, like when I was in ground school. I might upload those onto my Instagram later. 

I'm just so happy with how stuff's going in my life right now!
