selamat pagi! I don't know why, but reading your blog post reminded me of my freshman year... (#｀-_ゝ-)

The gap between the oldest and youngest is hilarious.. you had a mix of people transitioning from middle school and those anxious to start their working lives. Isn't it amazing how much people change in just 4 years?

I had a pretty small, but close friend group when I was first in high school. For some reason, within the first few weeks... we thought it would be funny if we all bought colorful melodicas and played them at school. So, we did, and we'd stand in the lunch court and play our melodicas and annoy everyone. (°ー°〃) I still have mine! BUT... if you don't own a melodica, one thing you have to understand.. they will fill with spit after you play it for a long time! I haven't touched mine in years... i don't know, maybe it has diseases, or new lifeforms.. (￣ ￣|||)
Regularly we'd pass seniors while being our stupid, immature selves and I'd hear them turn to each other and mutter 'new students...' It's true, but I miss that silly innocence before I realized the trials of hell! (҂ `з´ )

In one art class, I sat with all my friends. We were at the same table, which was fun, but it always got me into trouble. One girl made me laugh at a joke she delivered with complete seriousness, and i laughed so hard i threw up.. Σ(°△°|||)︴

There was a boy in that class who hated the girl. She was non-native English speaker and autistic, so she would say all kinds of things that seemed rude to some people. He was convinced she was some kind of monster or alien and talked about it every class we took together... (¯ . ¯;) IT WAS ANNOYING... but, one day, she told us to buy into it. So, we did, telling him disturbing stories about how she was going to drink all of his blood or dissect him. It made him genuinely scared... but, it wasn't enough!

Since our art class was in a trailer, it was far away from the rest of the classes. So, one day, when we were walking outside to go to the next class, we noticed that boy was following us... He started shouting some really insensitive, racist things, and she started threatening him. My friends started to get worried... They kept going back and forth. Then, at some point, he snapped...

'Why should I be scared of you!?'

I don't know who came up with it, but one of us shouted out, 'because she can control crows!! They'll come here and pluck your eyes out!'

Obviously... no one would believe it. So, he kept screaming and yelling, and all of a sudden, she lifted her hand to the skies dramatically.

Nothing happened. That boy started looking smug...

but then, out of nowhere... a swarm of crows started to gather above the field we were standing on. ＼(º □ º l|l)/

That was enough to make him start screaming and running away!!! I think the chaos upset them, because they dipped down and just barely grazed his head as he ran away... I don't even know, it was the most perfectly timed coincidence... σ(￣、￣〃) We laughed so hard it brought us to tears, and he never talked to us again. I seriously don't know how it happened, maybe someone spotted the crows before I did, but it was so glorious. Justice for crow-girl!

If you have weird stories from that time in your life, please tell me! It seemed like a weird time for everyone.. Or maybe I should've transferred from a school with bird attacks. (″ロ゛)
