Star Trek: Strange New Worlds theories/wishlist

With season 2 on the horizon (premieres June 15th!), I wanna talk about some things I think will happen if Alex Kurtzman isn't a fucking COWARD.

1, Either this coming season or next (already renewed for season 3!), I fully believe the writers are going to bring back the Suliban from Enterprise. I really think they could do a lot more with them with modern CGI, like how the changelings in Picard s3 were really fucking gross and awful to look at but objectively much better than how they looked on DS9 30 years ago.

2, With some confirmed scenes with Kirk and Spock coming up, plus how Paul Wesley spoke about their scenes together (he called it a Spirk vibe!), I'm expecting a scene giving us canonical queer Spock. However they decide to handle that, whether they're gonna make him bi, pan, gay or just "queer", I don't really know. I do know I will weep with joy if this happens.

3, MORE SCREENTIME FOR SUPPORTING CAST! Ortegas is getting her episode which I'm super excited about, and there's a new transporter chief to meet (Kyle isn't coming back :/) as well as a new chief of engineering (RIP Hemmer). I want to know about the rest of the bridge crew aside from the legacy characters goddammit!

4, and this is very much wishful thinking as most fans would riot over this heavy of a retcon, but - Uhura and Chapel. Think about it.

5, again, wishful thinking - I think Kirk and Spock should make out and I'm not afraid to say it to Kurtzman's face. If he wasn't a coward that scene with Geordi and Data/Lore trying to get Lore to give up control would have been a love confession.

Anyone else have theories or just a wishlist?
