Empty

Empty out your ribcage,

And let me rest inside.

I’ll nestle near your heart,

And sleep within your hide.

I’ll take care of all your organs,

Make sure everything’s in line;

For I cannot bear to part from you

You are my second home.

So let’s make a renovation,

And make these two parts a whole.

For I’d rather live within your bones

Where life is light and feathery,

Than in any cottage,

Made of rock cement and tree.

So my lover, with this in mind,

Please let me crawl inside.

Let me make peace in your tranquility,

For without you; there is no me.
