It has been sixteen days since the first signs of fluctuation revealed themselves. On that day, I began the process of repairing the stability of the melody of the Invisible Halcyon, and it has been twelve days since the operation was completed.

As expected, the subject exhibited signs of mercurial cognitive function, with rapidly fluctuating responses to both physical and mental stimuli. Interestingly, the subject is noted to have unconsciously engaged in behavior similar to somniloquy, incoherently mumbling the same meaningless ideas that he prattled on about before entering the Invisible Halcyon.

I find these results remarkably fascinating.

The initial Halcyon resulted in only seven days of slumber, more akin to a daze resulting from a sustained concussion rather than the projected dreamlike state that he was intended to experience. The subject did not exhibit any signs of entering REM sleep, and his physical condition was plagued with sudden spasms and seizures, requiring constant attendance by the castle's staff. Seven days later, due to intense resistance determined to be sourced from impressive mental fortitude, the subject woke up, evidently aware that he had been in a comatose state for some time, but for exactly how long, he was unsure.

The subject was content to spend the next several hours enjoying simple games and small talk with his servant before they excused themselves for the night, leaving the subject alone once again. In that time, I had meticulously put together an addendum to the series of words that currently constituted the Invisible Halcyon's script. This addendum would go on to prove significantly more effective in subduing the subject's consciousness. The subject has remained unconscious in the expected dreamlike state unimpeded until twelve days ago, wherein the first fluctuation occurred as predicted.

The subject exhibited only a few signs of physical activity, far fewer than what was expressed roughly one year ago during the initial procedure, though if I failed to repair the melody of the Invisible Halcyon, he would likely have awakened by the time of writing this report.

On the same day that the fluctuation occurred, April 17th, I preemptively implemented yet another addendum to the current script of the Invisible Halcyon, in order to eliminate all present fluctuations, and to prevent future fluctuations in order to maintain the stability of the Invisible Halcyon's melody.

As of four days ago, or eight days after the original fluctuation on April 17th, the subject returned to similar levels of cognitive function as exhibited during the previous Invisible Halcyon. Whereas the prior Invisible Halcyon was accurately projected to sustain itself for slightly over a year, only slightly missing the mark regarding its anticipated lifespan, this instance is expected to last for at least a decade before requiring any sort of maintenance.

Over the last four days, the subject has shown no unforeseen signs of fluctuation or deviation from regular neural activity relating to the Invisibly Halcyon. If all continues as expected, the subject will remain incapacitated until the arrival of the                         .
