Suzume (」°ロ°)」！！！ (no spoilers)

Selamat pagii!! i promised this blog for a while now, it's finally time.. ＼(￣▽￣)／

Last night, I walked to the movies to see Suzume! it's a 3 mile walk, and it was getting dark, so i was a little worried.. but I made it in one piece, clearly? (⌒_⌒;) Actually, I ended up leaving way too early, so I did some exploring and found a nature trail, saw bluebirds, climbed on rocks.. it was exciting! (҂` ﾛ ´)凸

I was still super obnoxiously early by the time I got there, so I went to the pet store next door (again.. i know..). I went to see the cats, and ended up getting to play with them a little bit. There was a black cat I kind of fell in love with, he poked his head up out of a tube in front of me suddenly and it was love at first sight, his eyes were so big and shiny.. MAYBE I NEED A CAT.. (╯_╰)

Anyways, when I got to the theater, I finally worked up the nerve to talk to some people my age who approached me, and it went really well! BUT... I FORGOT TO GET THEIR NUMBERS. (°ㅂ°╬) socialization after high school is a sick game and i'm losing. ( ͡ ' ˍゝ͡ ' )

ONTO THE MOVIE.. what are my thoughts??

EASY 10/10... (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)(;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) I don't rank anything at 10 easily!!! I'm not familiar with the director, and I went into it completely blind. All I knew about it is 'talking cat.. that sounds good.'

By the end of the first scene where it revealed the title I was already starstruck, I don't think I've ever been this excited for a movie in my life. ＼(º □ º l|l)/ First things first, I think it's definitely important you see it in a theater!! I really felt completely consumed in all the chaos that was happening at the beginning, it was overwhelming but so so exciting...

Also, the animation is so incredible, everything is so beautiful. There is some CGI, but once you notice it you barely even pay attention to it again. It blends fantastically with the 2D...

The humor and pacing is really good too, never feels inappropriate or shoe-horned in! Was as funny as it was sad.. the audience cried and laughed so much. (ﾉ_ヽ) It was funny, heart-wrenching, exciting.. i felt so many emotions.. I actually don't think I've cared so much for a movie in theaters this much before! And I don't even know anything about the damn director!!!!! ヽ(*。>Д<)o゜i can say so many good things about this, and i haven't even told you the plot..

By the way! I expected to be alone, since I was the only person when I bought my ticket.. but there were tons of people! Since I got there so early, I got the best seat.. Not too close, not too far, with the divider to prop my feet on... you can actually feel the noises if you do that?! It was perfect.. (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ

ANYWAYS! I liked it a lot, but I think it was maybe not in my best interest to meet cats after a movie with cats in the main premise, because now I want my own Daijin.

If you can see it in theaters, definitely go see it! It gets the Yuuko stamp of approval..
Maybe I have to go see it again!
