Whew... This puzzle is rather difficult... You know, as we've been tirelessly working on this puzzle - and both putting in decisively equal amounts of work, of course - I've been ruminating on a question for quite a while... where do you think the meaning in a puzzle pieces comes from? I believe... A puzzle piece does not contain any value, until it is surrounded by the correct pieces. On it's own, a puzzle piece is naught more than an archaic series of arbitrary edges and rims, wearing a mask of indiscernible colors and shapes. However, once deliberately placed into a spaced designed specifically for that piece and no other, those edges begin to have meaning. The shape is not arbitrary, but rather, specific. The previously insensible colors suddenly form a picture, clear as day. Keheh, I wonder, is mortal life just the same? Human lives are made up of tens of thousands of days. Some of those days seem to change the course of that life forever, whether for better or worse, and some of those days seem like an utter waste of time once the next day draws near. However, can you truly attribute value to a day? Each and every one is its own separate thread, woven into the fabric of your life... Who's to say? Altering a seemingly innocuous day could have indescribable ramifications on your future, after all. In that sense, each and every day, even those that seem unimportant, are monumental to your existence. And each day, when placed together just like pieces of a puzzle, reveal the bigger picture, the living embodiment of your identity. Your life is your own, after all. You alone hold the power within your grasp to place those pieces together in unity, and understand the meaning of the image that emerges.
Yes, I believe that a single piece of a puzzle has meaning. It is only once yo- Ack! Y-You've made significant headway into this puzzle while I was s-speaking, I see... Ahem. It would be unbecoming of one such as myself to allow you to do all the work, would it not? Watch and learn, mortal! I've found just the piece for this gap! Erm... If I could just... Squeeze it in there... Ku... Perhaps I have to rotate it?
