Living a Pure Life : Single Life for Jesus

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

- 1 Timothy 4:12

Throughout my childhood and into my teen years, I have learned the importance of following Christ daily. Was this journey easy? No. It was challenging. Still is to this day. But when I choose to have God by my side, He helps me meditate on God's Word, rely on His guidance and trust in Him. Thankfully, God sent the Holy Spirit to give us advice and lead us to His ways. The Bible says : 

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

- Psalm 119:105

We live in a very sinful and dark world, but with God's Word...He shines His light within us and guide us through. Anytime we don't know what to do or where to go, Jesus says:

"...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

- John 14:6

Being single can be lonely but when you focus on Him, you will learn to grow closer to Him and learn things He wants you to know on how to be the right person for someone. God knows when you are ready to meet the right one. So instead of focusing on meeting the right person, focus on being the right one! Here's the challenge for you single ladies and gentlemen: 

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."

- Hebrews 10:22
