Happy World Pilots Day!

Today, April 26th, is considered Pilot's Day! I wish I could celebrate by flying, but, it's so hard to schedule these things. Anyways, there is a forest fire up in the mountains where my family and I like to hike. It's kinda sad, since they just had a fire last year too. All day today it's been non-stop air support flying back and forth. 

I've been watching the Firehawk helicopters, the tankers, the patrols, and all that - both from my yard and from Flightradar. It's such a hot day today too. My dad and I have been feeling pretty wiped out just being outside for a short while, so unfortunately I can't do much except just sit in my room. 

At least it gives me time to work on my university assignment that I kinda neglected for a whole week because way cooler stuff was going on in my life. 

Anyways, later today I'm going to work out again finally. And I'm gonna do some "chair flying", which is pretty much a way of practicing pilot-y things without actually being in the air.
