Vina character dump <3

This is Vina! She’s a trans female, age 13-14. A while after the death of her immediate family and losing her left eye. She moved in with her uncle to her mother’s small hometown. Her letterman is her mother’s and is extremely large on her small ballerina frame. After the deaths, I feel like she’d adopt the scene look so when she starts crying her mascara adds to the look rather than making her look extra sad.

Sounds of bugs, cars, and tire screeches trigger her ptsd. When she’s not paying attention she runs risk of knocking into someone or something because of the lost of left side vision. She wears contacts- well contact- and glasses on days where she can’t manage to get the contacts to work for her.

Vina isn’t so much jaded but guarded, stuck living with ptsd and survivors guilt. If she can find a chance to ”redeem” herself she’ll take it. It’s how she meets best friend, witch, and future girlfriend Sophi. I feel like she would harbor guilt and push herself to become the lead of a ballet in honor of her dead sister.

I believe Vina’s arc would follow her becoming like a familiar and a more gentle person realizing she can just live even if it won’t be the same she can live beside the shadow and not in the shadow of her family death.
