The flaw with Homura Akemi's Wish

Many people would agree that Homura's wish is selfless, but almost every wish in the entire show was made with a selfish desire. Weather the girl knew it or not. The only truly selfless wish was Madoka's wish to save the magical girls. Most of the girls had a selfish idle in mind when they made their wish and had a benfit they hoped for. Madoka did not however. So how is Homura's wish selfish and flawed you may asked? And I shall give you an answer as you desire if you are reading this. Lets start from the beginning, I mean from the very first timeline beginning. Homura was timid and shy, she was shelterd and depressed. She was new and just got help for a heart condition. She also came from a catholic school, she changed schools and was far behind and didnt have any freinds. She also has confindence and self worth issues. So when she step into a witch labyrinth she was easliy influnced into almost commiting suicide as implied in the flashback. But Madoka and Mami saved her.  Over the next mounth she builds a close bond with the two. But with Madoka the bond was strong and the first friend that made her feel like she was worth something. But then the biggest and baddest witch comes Walpurgisnacht. The witch murdered Mami, and then madoka. Homura was deeply heartbroken. She couldnt bare to exist without Madoka, and she will guilty for her always having to help her. She couldnt protect Madoka. She felt as it was her fault Madoka died. She decided to make a wish. She wished to go back in time to be the one to save Madoka. She could of wish for her to come back to life right there and then. Instead she choose to be the one to save her. The flaw in her wish is it is selfish. She went back in time to save Madoka instead of bringing her back then so she could be the saving her and not being saved by her. She didnt care about the cost.
