Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken over Pasta

Hi, everyone!

Wow, another success in the books. Sorry for not posting in a while...lately, I've been making a lot of repeat meals. But, today is a new day, meaning a new recipe! Today's meal was Marry Me Chicken...what a name, huh?! If you wanna try this new recipe, stick around, and let's get to it!

Ingredients:

5 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

3 tbsp. all purpose flour

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tbsp. minced garlic

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. paprika

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained

2 tbsp. salted butter

spaghetti pasta, or any type

Fresh basil/grated parmesan cheese, optional for garnish

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, you're going to defrost your chicken breasts for 10 minutes. Heat your olive oil in a large skillet, over medium-high heat. Give your chicken a golden sear, 2-3 minutes per side.

Next, you're going to get a small bowl, in there you'll whisk together your flour and chicken broth. Add this mixture to the crock pot. After that, add in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Mix these ingredients gently.

Then, you're going to place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and then top your chicken with the sun-dried tomatoes and butter. Now, cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or for 3-3 1/2 hours on high until the chicken is cooked through. Stir the heavy whipping cream into your crock pot for the last hour if you're cooking on low or the last 30 minutes if cooking on high. In the last 10 minutes, you can start cooking your pasta. It should be finished by the time your chicken is ready to be served.

That's it, your meal is ready to be served! I'll include a picture of the finished result, like always. If you'd like, you can top it with fresh basil and/or grated parmesan cheese. Either way, I hope you get to enjoy this meal. It's so easy and delicious in the end. It's very filling and will be a hit.

Finished

Until next time,

Zelly :)
