Finally got to see Shang Chi 🖤

Since my husband and I are caregivers, it is difficult for us to get out even before the pandemic hit. We've been unable to attend a marvel movie in a couple of years since his mom started getting really bad off with her dementia so we really look forward to non theatrical releases.

It was a decent movie. Beautifully filmed and the cast was great. I was slightly worried about the direction of the next phase of marvel but so far between the series and movies, I've been less worried despite the couple bumps in the road along the way.

Scott and I haven't missed a marvel movie together since 2009 and no matter our situation, we aren't about the break that tradition! 🖤 We celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary on Halloween and I remember writing in my old blogs as a teen how I wish we could spend our time together doing shit we love like this when we were just teens dating long distance online. Now we've been together 18 years, married 9 and still nerding out together.
