little things.

I’m trying to find joy in tiny things right now. Watching behind-the-scenes videos about Disney so I can prepare myself for my program. Brushing out my dolls’ hair and making them look pretty. Enjoying playing a video game, or listening to three different versions of Mr. Blue Sky in a row because it makes me happy. Feeling a little bit of relief as I pass the paperwork I’ve filled out across the counter to the lady helping me file for my name change, and being told they’re going to waive the $400 fee.

Investing my energy into anything bigger feels exhausting. It takes too much out of me.
