Welcome to the first "The Tuesday of Haruhi Suzumiya" blog post!
I decided every Tuesday I will watch at least two episodes of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and write my feelings on each episode! I think it would fun lil rewatch project for me to do! plus it gives me a bit of a writing exercise with putting my thoughts into words I guess LOL! 

I am not a super smart genius or anything so don't take anything I say too seriously? I am just some random blogger sharing his thoughts on a 10+ year old anime.

ANYWAYS!! lets get this show on the road!!

EPISODE 1

I loved this episode so much. just watching Kyon and Haruhi's Dynamic start to form and grow was just my favorite thing ever! I watched this series first time maybe back in like 2010/11 or so and I would not be surprised if this started my love for the "eccentric ball of energy and the normal guy they drag around" dynamic.  also the subtle thing of seeing Haruhi slowly opening up more to Kyon was just so GWAHHHHHH!!! I just know that seeing these two interact will be my favorite part of the series!

EPISODE 2

I didn't enjoy my time watching this episode like the last one, and its mainly because of one common thing through the whole episode. being Haruhi's treatment of Mikuru. 

The constant groping and doing things to her while she would shout "no!" just... made me so uncomfortable to watch and its too constant in this episode to ignore. So far this is one part of the series that I feel didn't age well at all and it soured my enjoyment of this episode...

I will say it's not like Haruhi gets away scott free with these actions, and Kyon constantly talks about how this is all wayyy out of pocket. so there's that at leasr.

The very end made the episode worth it even if it was just a small taste of what's to come, though I still just enjoyed my time more with the last episode.
