Back Problems

So this morning I have an appointment with my pain management doctor for my back. So let me start from the beginning. Back in October 2022 I herniated my L4-L5 disk and it took months for any doctor's to get back to me to get this issue managed and when I did it was recommended that I get a spinal injection) cortisone). Well everything went great until about 2 weeks or so ago that my back started to hurt really bad non stop. I'm not sure if it has somehow gotten worse or the shot isn't working anymore but it is crap. I only am allotted 2 FMLA days a month which is definitely not enough days and now I've gotten taken off of light duty at work until I bring a letter to the HR stating that I need light duty tasks because nosey co workers are complaining that I'm getting favored even though ALL of management knows my situation. I truly wish people would mind there own business, especially after management tells them they do things for a reason so I'm not a liability to the company that I'm going to end up having to leave eventually anyway because of my back problem. 

I swear some people act as though I enjoy missing work and being able to do daily tasks and not being able to get bills paid. I don't. I also won't apologize for being an inconvenience to anyone because it's pretty inconvenient for me too. Let's be real, it's truly no one's business anyway considering it doesn't in any way affect there paycheck or bills or even work load so why bother ? I at least try, I still show up even on days where I struggle to even get out of bed because the pain is unbearable, some of y'all go home because of a headache, a fucking headache or because you sneezed wrong. I show up in what on most days I can only describe as partially debilitating pain to the point I'm in tears, but I'm getting favored. Yeah okay 👍🏻 I will be getting another injection hopefully in the next couple of weeks and then i don't honestly know after that as my insurance will probably be talen away from me since I apparently make too much money. What a world we live in.
