just let me rant ab splatoon- (lore spoilers 1-3)

ok, splatoon has such a special place in my heart. i love the lore sm. how salmonids evolved a lot like inklings. jellyfish are a hivemind. pearl broke a wood bridge shown in a trailer on a map (the reef) by singing. how the callie and marie try to hide they are agents 1 and 2 in splatoon 1 story mode. the way all idols wave at the player differently after beating story modes. i love it. splatoon is so- comforting to me. i love the silly noises that the cephalopods make. genuinely, this is more than a kid's game, its a work of art. perhaps even how splatoon dlc, going to inkopolis, closing out of the game, and reopening it reveals that the traditional loading screen is blue and orange, splatoon 1's colours. the music, oh the music. the bands? they have lore too. bands have canonically broken up. gotten back together. collaborations are a thing. i.e. damp socks feat. off the hook. mr grizz's building actually looks shady. the shoal looks dirty, like a real arcade. the billboards have bands on them. how octarians are released from hypnosis bc of calamari inkantaion. i feel like even though the franchise has sold so well, this game is underrated. i love splatoon. im so so happy to have such a cool special interest. im 100% going to continue to rant ab this game too. /lh /vpos /g
