Two years ago when I was 13, I told my mom that I wanted to get my septum pierced for my birthday. And of course, she said yes to it. I was lucky enough to have a mom that's all for self expression through clothing, tattoos, piercing, and other such things (she is very accepting). I almost didn't get it though, cause no place wanted to pierce a kid under 16, even with parent permission !! Thankfully we found a shop that my mom herself used to go to when she was younger, and I got it done! I don't regret it at all, and I think it suits me well :) A year after that, I told her that I wanted to get my nose pierced on my birthday AGAIN. This time she was a bit skeptical ( I wanted to get both of my nostrils pierced this time), but it happened nonetheless. Since my birthday is in July, it hasn't been a full year for them yet, but I can once again say that I STILL don't regret any of my piercings ! Hell, I still want to get more this year X) It's honestly kinda funny... her allowing me to get this far has really opened up a whole new (expensive) world for me... before getting my nose pierced I've never even so much as considered that one day, I may want a tattoo. But now, the more I think about it, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea ! (I would most definitely start out small, almost unnoticeable) And I'm for sure still not done with piercings yet lol. I think by the time I'm 25, my face will be full of metal...
Rambling about tattoos and piercings...
