Today I went to the beach!! I've been to the beach so much this semester. TBH it changed my perspective on day trips. Before it seemed implausible to go as often as I do now, but it is a delightful change of pace and more justifiable than before. It's just fun to get up and go!! It's also nice to work on my tan. 

Last time I was B-U-R-N-T, burnt to a crisp because I forgot to bring sunscreen, but after it healed I was a pleasant golden brown. BUT NEVER FORGET YOUR SUNSCREEN YOU WILL REGRET IT. I was in so much pain, and I'm like 99% sure my sister and I got sun poisoning. Bruh I could've gotten skin cancer too bc I forgot!! Like that would not have been v good for my personal economy. Lowkey I am traumatized by it. I don't feel safe at the beach unless I cover myself in like five layers of sunscreen. 

I didn't play in the water as much as before though cuz it was not our usual beach, and I wasn't as comfortable leaving our stuff behind. Not to mention ppl kept walking way too close to our setup. So mostly I sat there and read! Right now I'm reading "50 Ways to Ruin a Rake" by Jade Lee. Overall I think it was a good beach day, and I had some of the best Taco Bell I've had ever afterward.
