I have only been on here for less than 24 hours and I am enjoying myself so much already. I havenβt even interacted with anyone but using this as my lil space makes me feel awesome but also its been making me think more about my relationship with other social media
I have had unhealthy relationship with social media starting from like age 13/14. Mainly with twitter. I would constantly scroll and post on twitter with no regard and I kinda made it a big part of my self. So you can take a guess that didnβt help me at all lol.
But I just noticed I kinda donβt like using some social media because I find myself in circles that just worsen my mental health one way or another. I have bad paranoia that can induce delusions and I feel a need to be a people pleaser, mix that with current social media and you get what happens when you mix mentos and coca cola.
But after removing myself from those spaces my mental health has been alot more stable. Iβm sorry i am writing a blog post again while very sleepy so this is another ramble fest

good on you for leaving negative spaces! It's something i've been working on for a while, and something I think everyone should work on at some point :)

No yea I totally agree! Sadly its more common for spaces to grow overly negative even if you feel guilty for wanting space from it. I think its ok to admit when something becomes too much for you to handle and to take care of youβre mental health above all else!
