Okay, so maybe this was a fairly well known thing but it wasn't well known to me.
During Portal 1 when you sneak out of the testing track you know how you can go into the little viewing offices of previous test chambers? Well I was poking around in some of the objects there and found THIS:
And what's interesting is I'm fairly certain that this is actually a penguin skeleton (photo of a penguin skeleton for reference: 
)
which is funny to me because the idea of them being that desperate for test subjects that they'd use penguins is insane.
Just thought I'd share that little bit of info :)
