When trying to finish a book...

So I had a tough time trying to balance out my activities during the night time (work overtakes my time during the day and weekends are chores). One of them is reading.

By now, reading a book is kind of rare during this generation, but you can still see some people reading a book on a bus or train. I prefer a secure place since I like to be alert to my surroundings when I am traveling home. 

Lately I cannot pass two pages during the night because I get sleepy or  I'm outright tired from work and chores during the night. It's becoming a little annoying, especially since you want to dedicate some time to other hobbies. 

I don't want to lose my ability to have reading comprehension...I feel is becoming a thing of the past. I hope I am wrong.
