hi!
sooooo, i just got prescribed wellbutrin in addition to my abilify and was wondering if anyone has thoughts on that combo or wellbutrin in general? ive heard good things so i'm pretty excited, hopefully will feel an increase in energy/motivation.
right now i have the motivation to go to work which is nothing short of AWESOME, but i am still working on being able to do things for myself (more hobby based).
lmk if u have any experiences with these meds! abilify has been good to me (i have bipolar 1) but i know people have had less good experiences with it. thanks!!

hi! i took wellbutrin for a little bit. i've heard good things about it! but it didn't seem to work for me. i was also looking for energy and motivation (as i would just lay on the floor all day and not do anything), and here's what happened for me: around when the affect usually takes place (and i forgot when that is), i started getting more moody and emotional. eventually that subsided, and i just felt like i did before taking the wellbutrin. whether or not me being more emotional at first was connected is a mystery, but in the end, it didn't really do anything. but, again, i've heard a lot of positive things about the med, and that's just my experience.
speaking of abilify, i also take that (for other reasons because if i have a bipolar disorder, it's very depression-heavy), and it's been very helpful! however, i didn't take wellbutrin and abilify at the same time.
