A song not meant to be heard (death's melody)

There is no need to fear the end,

it doesn't hurt to leave,

the things before fade away,

one day you will close your eyes and see her face,

and god is she beautiful,

the most graceful of them all,

she is an angel with six wings,

and she is yet to fall,

she was at the beginning and will be here for the end,

if she had a choice she would watch humanities fall again and again,

she comes for us all in due time,

she watches how we choose to unfold our lives,

she understands that the apple wasn't Eve's fault,

but god's ignorance that led to the fall,

she knows sin is a fancy word for choice,

that actions can't be so easily sorted,

she has no way to tell us,

she has no voice,

her limbs and body are contorted,

eyes in places they shouldn't be,

the longer you look the more that is wrong,

the longer you think of what comes after,

the louder you hear her song,

the song of war and pain,

the song you can only hear during heavy rain,

beauty found in the death of those we love,

we can only hope that their souls are above.

Death is my goddess,

she comes for us all,

she has seen your rise,

she will see your fall,

we were all born out of love and hate,

and so we return,

the earth's true fate.
