Journal Entry #36: 04/19/23

Today’s my sister’s birthday. She said she had a good one, which is nice because it’s her sweet sixteen!

For whatever reason, it is already summer in Target. Summer floaties, summer swimsuits, summer foods, etc. However, we still are experiencing lows in the 40s. I really want it to warm up completely! It’s annoying having to “change” outfits because it’s cold in the morning but hot in the afternoon. When it’s cold, I put this blanket between my sheet and comforter for insulation. I don’t remember exactly when I removed it last year, but I’d like to be able to confidently put it up again. No more cold mornings, please!

Part of the reason I haven’t posted in a few days is because I’ve been busy. There’s been so much work, and that’s the thing about April: There’s so much to do! Thankfully, late April weekends tend to be quite relaxing for me (especially Sundays). Also, I haven’t been feeling well because of my final meningitis booster shot I got yesterday. My arm is super sore, I had a fever last night and am still suffering from mild headaches. I was okay this morning, but I’m not sure if I should’ve gone to school. I don’t understand why I react so adversely like this. But hey, at least this is the last one, and I am now more grateful for the times when I am in health.

I have three tests tomorrow (what a doozy!). One in AP Stats, one in anatomy, and one in my economics class. Wish me luck, I’ve studied somewhat for each. The one that I feel I am least prepared for is my economics test.

Also, considering what I said in the previous entry, I set up some reminders! However, with the amount of work I’ve been having to do, I haven’t done a good job of keeping them consistent. Setting up reminders and routines likely would have been easier to follow earlier this year, maybe in late February or March, when things weren’t as busy. I’ll still try my best though.

I’m pretty tired, and I have things to do, so I better log off. I dream of the weekend, even though I still have two days to get through…
