So... I got on my computer as per usual. Put on a video while I was making art. No biggie, right? Well, YouTube seemed to have shadow dropped a huge UI update to the viewing video portion of their site. It's all weird now.
I don't think I'll ever get used to this. Everybody keeps changing their websites to look as professional as possible. What ever happened to having character and personality with all these things? They all look the same nowadays. This site is one of the few left with the true remnants of the past. What everything once was. Alive, and not sterile.
Everything feels like I'm walking through a hospital or an office building. Don't get me wrong. Minimalism is pretty neat. easy on the eyes. But, where's the creativity? Yes, technology is moving forward, but it's all becoming exactly the same in presentation and layout.
I hope sites like this one persevere through everything the web is going through, in spite of it all.

I hate the new yt layout Q_Q The designs may be more appealing towards advertisers and companies but make it absolutely horrible to navigate!! On mobile devices, the descriptions of the videos are basically hidden unless you click the title bar part of the video?? why would you do this *cryyyy* The new bubbled/rounded look is also weird and distracting.
