Project TiredGas Drift - #1 "Research"

Two of my friends, (Daniele and Luca) and I have a passion for engines and motorsport. (we're 17-16 btw)
And initially we were joking about buying a car to take to the track for drifting, but in the end we said "why don't we really buy it", so we set ourselves a goal, which is to work this summer, to gain work and economic experience, and to accumulate money for our project car, I gave the name of the project "TiredGas" because it is the union of my tag "Tired Eyes" with Daniele's tag "GAS".

I hope that neither Luca nor Daniele abandon this project, I really care about this project, and if one of them decides to abandon the situation it becomes more difficult, and if both abandon the situation it becomes impossible.

so now our task is to look for various cars that can fit for our project, we have found that the BMW Series 3 E46 is perfect for our project, it is reliable, economical, powerful and has all the cards in order for the drift.

BMW

fortunately we are managing to find some of those at a low price and in excellent condition (we can't afford cars for more than 2000-2500 euros)

The first mods we will make to our BMW will be the essential and basic mods needed for Drift
Drift Coilovers (about 600€)
Welded Differential (0€)
Sports handbrake (0€ if we remove the spring from the handbrake, 50€ if we install the hydraulic handbrake)
Weight Reduction (We can make some money selling the parts we took off to lighten the car)

I don't consider the external and aesthetic mods essential, also because the car will surely receive some blows here and there, but we would like to join the local drift team "Salento Drift",And I can't wait to see "SALENTO DRIFT" written on the side of the car, however if the money left over we could create a clean build like this:

Project

our car will be mainly used in some abandoned square, on the street for night rides,
and on the "Pista Salentina" track:

Pista Salentina

I'm sure that as a track it can be intriguing for drift, for its curves and hairpin bends

I think I've said it all for now, thanks for listening and
STAY TUNED
