im just gonna start posting my bad poetry here

this lake is so calm

I plunge my head under it's water

when I look up I see the water ripple

when I look up I cant see past it's surface

like a cage it holds me there 

waiting for me to take a breath 

a bit further I sink

when I look up I see plants reaching for the sun

the surround me 

like a forest of no trees and no leaves

further I sink, deeper into the lake's grasps

now as I look up I see an inky sight

not of light nor anything bright

but a raven abyss void of plants

vacant of life

back to the surface I swim

this lake is so calm
