The Last Time (Please let it be the last time)

Well, hopefully this is the last time, anyway. The last time we have to move houses. The last time we have to collect all of our things together and put them in to a box truck and drive them somewhere else just to dump them out again in a new place.

This house we've bought has already given us such a sense of security and we're not even moved in yet.

Today I'll be renting that mentioned truck and packing those mentioned things. I honestly shouldn't be doing it with my disabilities and problems but I want to look cool for my wife so I gotta try it. If I end up breaking, she can throw me in the back of the truck with the rest of our junk.

Yesterday we spent ~$300 on curtains and rods for the new place. Just cheapo blackout curtains from Dollar General's home goods section, but still $16 each. We got ten curtain panels and ten rods.

Today I have to call and cancel the internet here at the old house, then I need to make sure and box up the modem they force us to rent and send that back, or they'll charge like $500 for their shitty $90 hardware.

We won't have internet right away at the new house, and will be tethering from our phones for a while to get online. Starlink satellite coverage should be coming to our new area this year so our plan is to use whatever the mediocre local provider is temporarily until we can get the good and fast internet we need.

Anyway, its 6AM and I gotta do some laundry so my wife will have her comfy pants to wear today while we pack boxes.

No gaming news recently, been too busy worrying about all the shit you gotta do to move out of a place.
